A planning application is seeking permission to partly demolish and redevelop Preston Bus depot to allow the construction of new buildings 🚌
The site has recently seen the demolition of several large industrial buildings as a pre curser to the proposed redevelopment.On behalf of the applicant, agents Paul Gaughan Building Consultants, said: “The site is already an established and very successful bus depot, which provides employment for local people and businesses.
“Therefore, the proposed development would provide the opportunity for the continued operation of the bus depot on the existing wider site, thus the businesses will continue to operate and expand.” In terms of appearance, the building has been designed to be ‘both functional and fit for purpose for its proposed use’.
