“There’s nothing quite like getting a laugh,” he explains. “That was when I was like, ‘Oh, I get it. Maybe this is what I’m going to do.’ Because being on stage and doing something that elicits an audience to laugh at you is extremely thrilling. , Urie has portrayed Prince Hamlet for Shakespeare Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., and hosted the TLC series. He’s currently starring in a lead role opposite Jason Segel and Harrison Ford on the Apple TV+ show“I like to keep busy,” says Urie, who’s based in New York. “I also like to bounce around. I like to be in other places to work. I was in LA all summer doing a TV show. And then I was just in D.C. doing a play. And now I’m here directing this.
