Greater Sudbury Hydro says Aug. 12 outage will run from 6-8 a.m.
Greater Sudbury Hydro is planning a power interruption that will affect all residents and businesses in Copper Cliff on Aug. 12 from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
This interruption is required to enable hydro crews to safely conduct important maintenance, GSU said in a news release. The utility recommends Copper Cliff residents ensure that computerized equipment is turned off prior to the interruption of services. As well, as most cordless phones will not operate during a power interruption, keeping cellphones fully charged is ideal.Landlords are also asked to notify their tenants of the outage.
