Most of the country will see the Pittsburgh Steelers and Atlanta Falcons broadcast.
The season opener for the Pittsburgh Steelers will kick off at 1 p.m. and if you were hoping that your market would be covered for the FOX slate, chances are you are in good hands. Most of the United States will see the Steelers against the, the Steelers ’ game will be covered in the entire Western side of the country, most of New England, lots of the South, and much of the Midwest. Included in these markets is the Harrisburg market, which will get the Steelers -Falcons game on FOX.
There are ten markets in the NFL that will not receive that game. Those are Chicago, Minnesota, Indianapolis, Detroit, Green Bay, Nashville, Charlotte, New York, Miami, and New Orleans, as they will show other, local games in those markets. FOX does have two games this week, with the Dallas Cowboys and Cleveland Browns following the Steelers game. In addition to that, CBS will counterprogram with the Las Vegas Raiders against the Los Angeles Chargers in the late afternoon slot. However, the Steelers will dominate the Pittsburgh market for the 1 p.m. slate.
