Lenier and El Micha join the group of acts who have claimed their first No. 1 in 2020: The Black Eyed Peas clocked their first leader when “RITMO ,” with J Balvin took possession of the crown on the Feb. 8, 2020-dated list. Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj nabbed her first No. 1 with “Tusa,” with Karol G as the tune landed atop the tally on Feb. 15. Lastly, Israeli pop duo Static & Ben El got their first leader with “Súbelo ,” with Pitbull and Chesca.
“Me Quedaré” hikes 7-1 thanks to a lofty 74 percent increase in audience impressions , earned in the week ending April 12, according to Nielsen Music/MRC Data. Originally a song by El Micha and Lenier released on June 8, 2018, “Me Quedaré’ was remixed by Pitbull in collaboration with Ne-Yo and slotted as the third single off the Cuban rapper’s 11th studio album“Me Quedaré” follows another Latin Airplay No. 1 title off: “No Lo Trates” with Natti Natasha and Daddy Yankee . The reimagination of El General’s 1994 hit “No Me Trates de Engañar,” featuring American singer Anayka, marked Pitbull’s first No. 1 on the chart since 2016.
