Federal Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre was in the province last week as part of what he’s calling an ‘Axe the Tax’ tour.
He says many Canadians are struggling to make ends meet due to fees such as the carbon tax and the new Clean Fuel Regulations.He says earning the majority is the only surefire way he will be able to eliminate the taxes. If it was a case of a minority government, he plans to persuade other parties to join in the effort.
