Pickering's waterfront parking program has returned. It's in effect from May 1 to October 1 annually. Non-residents need to pay to park in certain spaces
Those who live in Pickering can apply for a free parking permit that will be valid for two years from the date of issue.
Pickering residents can obtain a no charge seasonal permit that will be valid for two years from date of issue. Vehicle must be registered to a Pickering address . Residential permits issued in 2023 are valid for 2 seasons and do not need to be renewed until 2025. First two hours of parking are free Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm within the waterfront permit parking area except for Beachpoint Promenade, Front Street and the municipally operated waterfront parking lots .
