Image provided by the New York City Police Department shows the suspect sought in the the killing of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
“This does not appear to be a random act of violence,” Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said at a press conference late Wednesday morning.One of the images released by the NYPD is a still taken from surveillance video of the shooting itself. Another image appears to show the same person on a bicycle.In the first image, the shooter is seen pointing a gun at Thompson off-screen.
The suspect is described as a white male dressed in black clothing and wearing a face mask and a gray backpack.Police are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to an arrest and conviction. .
