After 2 years' hiatus due to the pandemic, Bunnies on the Bayou returned Sunday to Sesquicentennial Park in Houston.

The event, billed as Houston's biggest outdoor cocktail party, is the main fundraiser for the all-volunteer nonprofit, which donates 100% of its funds to Houston LGBTQ+ organizations.

Bunnies on the Bayou started in 1979 as small garage party, and has grown from helping people with HIV/AIDS to assisting many different types of organizations, from Montrose Grace Place, which helps homeless youth, to LHI Houston, which works to eliminate barriers to healthcare for LGBT-identified women and transgender men.
