Phillip Schofield's Dancing on Ice replacement revealed as he battles sickness
The This Morning star, 59, has been absent from TV this week after falling sick with Covid-19 on Monday, 31 January.
"While Phil is off recovering, Stephen was delighted to be asked to step in to fill his shoes and present alongside Holly," an insider told Mirror Online. They continued: "He gets on with everyone so bosses are more than happy for him to step up. Everyone's wishing Phil a quick recovery and hoping to see him back in his rightful place later this month".Phillip announced he tested positive for Covid-19 on Monday by sharing the results of a lateral flow test on Instagram.Phillip had been hosting This Morning alongside Rochelle Humes, while Holly Willoughby has been filming for another show with the BBC, when he got the positive result.
