One thing missing from the Players Championship will be LIV golfers.
“I don’t think anyone on the PGA Tour cares or will miss those guys to be quite honest with you,” Mackenzie Hughes told Postmedia. “The majors will be obviously different with those guys there, but I don’t think any one of us will be wondering how The Players would be different if those guys were here.”Article content“I hate to say it, but it just kind of seems like all of the guys on the LIV tour have been forgotten,” Conners said.
“Those guys made their decision to go play a different tour and take a bunch of guaranteed money and get paid very well, so that was their choice, and we as players are just focused on what we’re doing here,” he said. “They are just two different things now. Those guys are no longer playing on the PGA Tour and this is the PGA Tour’s flagship tournament, so that’s just the choice they made.”
