Opinion: Given everything we know, and everything we don’t know, it’s pretty clear that the province rescinded the mandate too early.

Can you spot the difference? Neither can I. But if you think these nearly identical statements came from the same source, you couldn’t be more wrong. Now, granted, the quotes from Noem and the province occurred at two different times, during two different stages of the pandemic. When Noem’s tweet appeared in 2020, little was known about COVID, and vaccines were a distant dream. In contrast, B.C. embraced the Noem nonsense late last month when it ended mask mandates.
