They star in 'The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes.' Dinklage previously criticized Zegler's upcoming film, a live-action 'Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.'
“Well, you know, it’s really progressive to cast a — literally no offense to anyone, but I was a little taken aback by ... they’re very proud to cast a Latina actress as Snow White,” Dinklage said on the podcast, speaking of Zegler, who is of Colombian American heritage. “ButRachel Zegler backstage at the Oscars. In addition to playing the new Snow White, she'll appear in "Shazam! Fury of the Gods," slated for release in December.
“They were so proud of that,” Dinklage said. “All love and respect to the actress and to the people who thought they were doing the right thing, but I’m just like, ‘What are you doing?’” In the upcoming “Hunger Games” movie, Tom Blyth plays an 18-year-old Corolianus Snow, who becomes the president of Panem years later.
Snow is assigned to mentor Baird , a girl with a powerful voice who draws attention when she sings during the reaping ceremony.
