After missing the first six games of the second round with an injury in 2019, Pavelski returned for the Sharks in Game 7 against Colorado, scoring a goal and setting up Tomas Hertl to lift his team to the Western Conference Finals.Earlier that same season, he drew a bloody, cross-checking penalty when the Sharks trailed the Golden Knights 3-0 that led to a five-minute major. The Sharks scored four goals on that power play to take the lead and secure the series.
