Visit cbc.ca/feedyyc to learn more.One morning while I was walking to work, the road was so slippery due to black ice. I slipped as I was crossing the street. A stranger saw and approached me and helped me up and asked if I needed urgent care from the clinic or hospital. I could feel her sincerity and her concern about me. I was so touched with the kind gesture.

I eventually ended up helping a couple of families get settled in Calgary. Every time I reached out to my community for items the families needed, I was surprised and thrilled with the generosity I witnessed.
