BREAKING: Woman, 89, stabbed to death in south London.
An 89-year-old woman has been found stabbed to death at a home in south London.
Police were called at around 9pm last night to a woman injured in Brigstock Road, Thornton Heath in Croydon.Her family have been informed, and they will be supported by specialist officers.A man, aged in his 30s, was arrested at another address in Croydon a short time later and has been taken into police custody.At this stage, nobody else is sought in connection with the death.
