Keystone State residents are among the most likely to spoil their pets, a study has found.

, conducted and published said study — as released via statement — which was based on Google search volume for 840 phrases related to gifts for pets such as “chew toy for dog” or “best toys for pet.” Searches were then broken out by state and calculated per 100,000 residents.

While Pennsylvania didn’t score a spot among the top 10, its final ranking — 17th — still labels it as a state with many a spoiled pet.“With such a large amount of money spent on pets in the U.S. each year, it is interesting to see which states are the most generous when it comes to their animals,” states a Printed Memories spokesperson. “Dog-specific products are the most popular when considering the type of products searched for online.
