Peel police are investigating three collisions that took place within the same hour on Monday night in Mississauga and Brampton, including one resulting in the death of a pedestrian.to Neilco Court and Dundas Street East after an 83-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a driver just before 8:30 p.m. Police said the pedestrian died from their injuries on scene.Peel’s major collision bureau is investigating the incident, and police are asking for witnesses to call 905-453-2121, ext. 3710.

The incident knocked out a traffic pole in the intersection. Police said someone from one of the vehicles fled the area on foot.at 9:12 p.m. for another two-vehicle collision at Sandalwood Parkway and Airport Road. Police said the occupant of one vehicle in this incident also fled on foot.
