Peel Regional Police have arrested an 18-year-old man, Aqib Aqib, in connection with two violent carjackings in Mississauga, Ontario. One incident occurred on Thursday, January 12th, where a 72-year-old man was assaulted and his vehicle stolen. Aqib was also linked to a carjacking on January 9th, where a 75-year-old man was similarly targeted.

Officers quickly found the stolen vehicle and arrested one person after a foot pursuit, they say. The second suspect is still at large.
