SHUNIAH, Ont -- A driver is facing criminal charges after a pedestrian was struck and killed at the intersection of Highway 11/17 and Highway 587 in Shuniah..

The driver of the vehicle, whose name was not yet released, was charged with operation causing death. They suffered minor injuries.OPP ask anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward and contact them at 1-888-310-1122.
