Out Aug. 2, the film sees the three actresses as life-long friends, Carol , Gillian and Helen , who are in peril after their grown-up sons all forget to wish them a happy Mother’s Day.
Instead of wallowing in their loneliness, the three women decide to hitch it to New York City to reconnect with their sons. In the end, the three women learn that maybe they’re not the only ones who need to reorient their lives.
