The vocabulary alone, surrounding the question of energy, its supply and cost, is at times overwhelming and worrisome. One is bombarded with a plethora of terms including hydrogen, green hydrogen, mini-nuclear, wind power, solar power, nitrogen, liquefied natural gas , hydro and others. These terms are fueling Nova Scotia Power’s efforts to increase consumer and business electrical energy costs over the coming years if not decades.
Ms. MacIsaac notes that the proposed new public library would not only continue to support literacy but, like the Halifax Public Library, support many community programs and educational imperatives.
