Pastor rips congregation for being \u0027broke\u0027 and \u0027busted\u0027 after they won\u0027t buy him watch
Pastor Carlton Funderburke of Kansas City was caught on video making the comments when his congregation would not purchase him a Movado watch - which ranges in price from $395 to $3,295 U.S.A Missouri pastor has gone viral after ripping into his congregation, calling them “poor,” “broke,” “busted and disgusted.
“I’m not worth your McDonald’s money? I’m not worth your Red Lobster money?” Funderburke told parishioners the Church at the Well on Aug. 7. “I ain’t worth your St. John Knits — y’all can’t afford it no how.Funderburke founded the church with his wife, Pastor Sylvarena Funderburke. The video was posted on Facebook. Funderburke says on the video that he asked for the watch last year “and here it is all the way in August and I still ain’t got it.We apologize, but this video has failed to load.
