Passengers on Friday morning were hailing staff at the airport as security queues reached under 30 minutes at peak times.
It looks as if the four hour long queues some passengers have been experiencing over recent weeks at Dublin Airport may be coming to an end.
Speaking to RTE News, daa spokesperson Graeme McQueen said: "The queues have been flowing really well with a wait time of under 30 minutes at Terminal 1 this morning.” Passengers are still being advised to arrive at the airport up to 3.5 hours before their flight is due to depart - but no more than that as it causes a backlog for earlier travellers.
