A few passengers that were on that flight are sharing their experience.
“The cockpit door opened and someone walked out on their own and went to the back of the plane. We had no idea who it was,” said Stephen. In a recording of the conversation with air traffic control, you can hear the pilot say, “We've got the guy that tried to shut the engines down out of the cockpit and he doesn't sound like he's causing any issue in the back right now. I think he's subdued.”“And then the flight attendant got back on and told us he had a mental break down,” said Gavello.
Stephen told KOMO News that had he known the night before, he probably would have rented a car and driven back home.
