Nearly 30 people from New Jersey have been charged with crimes for the Jan. 6 attack last year.
“This individual has been talking about overthrowing the government for weeks in public chat rooms pushing disinformation and talking about hanging and executing people repetitively…He claims to have been in the Capitol Building on the 6th of January and has posted multiple disturbing videos which would seem to substantiate this statement,” the tip read in part.
The FBI last month charged Oliveras, 38, of Lindenwold, with four crimes accusing him of disorderly and disruptive conduct after illegally entering the Capitol during the Jan. 6 riot. Investigators found Oliveras was indeed at the Capitol on Jan. 6, and used his cell phone to record and later post several videos inside the Capitol. He also live streamed some during the attack, a detective wrote in the criminal complaint against him.
And while filming a pile of damaged news media gear, in a pile, the man says, “That’s what happens when the f------ fake news shows up at a Patriot rally.”
