Thousands are being urged to act by midnight
Thousands of parents across the country face losing out on money unless they act fast. The deadline to renew benefits or risk payments being stopped is midnight on Sunday, July 31.
Claimants should receive a renewal pack in the post explaining everything they need to know about renewing your Tax Credits and not everyone needs to take action, Birmingham Live reports. Myrtle Lloyd, HMRC’s Director General for Customer Services, said: "Renewing your tax credits is too important to forget. HMRC support is available at all times of the day and night via GOV.UK and the smartphone app to help customers get their renewals right.
