Paraguay’s Luana Alonso is ready for another shot at Olympic glory.
on Tuesday, the 20-year-old swimmer proudly announced she qualified for the Paris Games next month in what will be her second appearance at the Olympic level.
“It’s official! Qualified for the Paris Games 2024 ! My heart is happy to represent the country once again! “Wishing you the best of luck,” one Instagram user posted while another replied, “You don’t need Paris, Paris needs you queen.”She competed in the 100m butterfly at the Tokyo Games in 2021 and expressed gratitude for those cheering her on.Alonso finished the year at SMU with career-best times in the 100 and 200 fly, per the university’s website.
