NHLTrade: Derick Brassard is on the move yet again. Details ⬇️
BOILER-PIPE: February 25, 2019 Brassard was sent from the Penguins to the Panthers earlier this month as part of a four-player trade, which occurred less than one year after he was flipped to Pittsburgh from Ottawa.
The 31-year-old struggled offensively with the Penguins and managed one goal and three assists in 10 games with the Panthers. He is a pending unrestricted free agent with a salary cap hit of $3 million – his full cap hit is $5 million but Vegas is on the hook for $2 million. This is the fifth time Brassard has been traded in his NHL career.
