Mathieu Fleury, then the city councillor for Rideau-Vanier, commended the police for handling raucous crowds but reiterated that the community must work to find a solution that goes beyond enforcement.Article content “Cancelling Panda is absolutely feasible and needs to be looked at seriously, but the issues that arise in the evening in a community in Sandy Hill are as much tied to Panda as they are to homecoming and there are a number of solutions that can resolve and address that,” he said.
