A disabled opossum from Pennsylvania has secured a spot in the 2024 Walkin' Pets Calendar after winning a global contest.
The opossum, named Olliver Paddington, was attacked by several predators when he was young, leaving him with major bite wounds, abscesses and a severe spinal cord injury that left him unable to walk. After going through rehabilitation, Olli had improved, but his owner thought he deserved more. After researching pet mobility devices online, Cheri connected with another opossum rehabber who donated a Walkin Wheel's pet wheelchair to Olli in memory of another pet opossum who had passed away.
