“It’s not fair,” Alyssa Carpenter told Lycoming County Judge Nancy L. Butts on Tuesday. “My baby did not deserve this. I’ll never get to see him grow up.”to a charge of involuntary manslaughter. Forsyth did not admit assaulting the infant but acknowledged the evidence outlined against him was sufficient for a jury to find him guilty.
Old Lycoming Twp. Detective Sgt. Chris Kriner, who is now the chief, testified at the preliminary hearing Carpenter told him Forsyth had gotten up during the night to give her son a bottle and change his diaper.
