Road rage may be behind both the crash and the shooting that occurred afterward, Pa. police say.
A two-vehicle crash involving an Amazon delivery van was then followed by one of the drivers opening fire on the other., the possible road-rage incident occurred around 12:20 p.m. Sunday in normally quiet Clifton Heights, Delaware County.
Police tell the news station the two drivers collided at the busy intersection of Springfield Road and Oak Avenue, resulting in one of the drivers then being shot by the other. Two of vehicles involved in the incident were a silver pickup truck and an Amazon delivery truck, and 6ABC reports police were investigating and photographing both vehicles at the scene.
However, police didn’t identify any of the drivers, nor say who shot who in initial reports. Police did say the driver who opened fire got away.
