Previously, with the teams in opposite divisions, they only met twice during regular season – once in Yarmouth and once in Summerside.Before 1,407 fans at the Mariner Centre, Nathan Carter scored the lone goal of the shootout in Round 5 to give Yarmouth the win. Keegan Warren, who has family connections to the Kensington area, earned the goaltending win. Brandon Abbott tended goal for the Caps.
