RCMP arrested a man for dangerous driving following a collision on Highway 2 in Richmond on Tuesday, Feb. 8.- SaltWire Network FileRICHMOND, P.E.I. — Police arrested a 26-year-old man for dangerous driving following a collision on Highway 2 in Richmond on Tuesday, Feb. 8.
RCMP said officers responded to the scene of the crash around 1 p.m. Police said the crash happened when the driver, who was travelling at high speed, tried to pass a vehicle that was already legally passing another vehicle.The driver, from Rose Valley, was arrested for dangerous driving and received a ticket for driving while his license was suspended.Police said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
