A professional kiteboarder from P.E.I. says he has been seriously injured in a shark attack that occurred while he was snorkelling in the Turks and Caicos Islands last week.
The Canadian PressLucas Arsenault's kiteboarding is sponsored by the Hawaii-based kitesurfing equipment company Cabrinha.
In an accompanying caption, he said the injuries were the result of a shark attack while snorkelling with family and friends on Thursday."This will present new challenges for me, but I am incredibly positive and thankful to be here doing well to continue living my life to the fullest."
