It keeps getting less expensive to fill up at the pumps in Prince Edward Island as the Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission announced a 5.8-cents-per-litre decrease in the minimum price of gas. In its latest adjustment, effective at 12:01 a.m. on July 22, IRAC said the price of regular self-serve gas now ranges from 186.5 to 187.7 cpl.The cost of furnace oil also went down with a 4.2-cpl decrease, bringing the maximum price to 154.7 cpl.
In addition, IRAC announced a drop of 5.7 cpl to the minimum price of diesel, bringing it to between 203.7 and 204.8 cpl.
