STRATFORD, P.E.I. — The RCMP and the Town of Stratford are asking people to check on their vacant properties after four people were found squatting on an abandoned property in Stratford.
“I know it’s a sign of people in tough spots, but the RCMP did remedy that situation as well. We're just kind of monitoring that and making sure that folks are aware and vigilant." Cpl. Gavin Moore, spokesperson for the RCMP told SaltWire in an interview that people camping in empty buildings has become an island wide concern. - Dave Stewart/SaltWire
