The U.S. government has recovered more than 300 documents marked classified from Mar-a-Lago since former President Donald Trump left office, including more than 150 retrieved by the National Archives in January, according to a report.

In a separate statement, Trump said “ALL documents have been previously declassified” — though he has not produced evidence to support that claim — and described the records as having been “illegally seized from my home." The federal magistrate judge who signed off on the search reiterated earlier Monday that there was"probable cause that evidence of multiple federal crimes would be found" at the estate and doubled down on his decision to authorize the search.
The search warrant, obtained by NBC News, for the Mar-a-Lago home of former President Donald Trump says 11 sets of classified documents, including some marked top secret, were removed.
