More than 200 distressed overseas Filipinos recently came back home from Qatar through the government’s repatriation efforts, the Department of Foreign Affairs said Thursday, Feb. 10.
It disclosed that the repatriated Filipinos included two families, three children, and two infants. Of the total passengers, 185 are women. The agency further said that the chartered repatriation flight is the 15th of its kind to be mounted by the Embassy since the start of the coronavirus disease pandemic in 2020.
