Over 10,000 homes were left without power following Saturday's heavy rainfall.

Saturday's heavy rainfall caused power outages which are now affecting over 10,000 homes across the Bay Area, officials said. Most outages have occurred in the South Bay, a spokesperson for PG&E told SFGATE. 3,757 customers are without power in the region as of 1:21 p.m. on Saturday. There are 2,051 customers without power along the Peninsula, with San Bruno being the most impacted area. There are 2,601 homes without power in the East Bay and 1,706 in the North Bay, the spokesperson said, though it's unclear which cities in those regions have been hit the hardest. Only 13 customers have been left without power in San Francisco.
PG&E currently has no estimations as to when power in these areas will be restored, the spokesperson said, but crews will be working throughout the day to try and resolve these issues.
