It’s taken longer than expected, but maybe the 2023-24 Senators are finally about to start that run of “unparalleled success” former team owner Eugene Melnyk promised four years ago. “Everybody is putting pressure on us,” said Tim Stutzle, who is fast becoming one of the league’s elite players. “It’s going to be a hard season, we can’t take any team lightly. We have a good enough team to be really good. But we have to go day by day, game by game and see where that takes us.”Article content
“Everybody’s ready, we can’t wait to get this season going,” said Stutzle. “Get off to a good start and see how it goes. It’s always going to be tough. Every conference is good. Every team can beat every team in the league. It’s important to find the legs, get back in game shape.”
