Amadio’s new contract with the Senators carries a $2.6 million cap hit through 2027.
The Ottawa Senators have signed forward Michael Amadio to a three-year contract, the club announced Monday afternoon.
TSN’s Darren Dreger was the first to report the news of the signing. Amadio’s new contract with the Senators runs through the end of the 2026-27 season and carries a $2.6 million annual cap hit.have agreed to terms with forward Michael Amadio on a three-year contract .The Los Angeles Kings originally selected Amadio in the third round of the 2014 NHL Draft. After a successful junior career with the OHL’s North Bay Battalion, Amadio made his NHL debut with the Kings in the 2017-18 season.
After the Toronto Maple Leafs signed Amadio in on July 28, 2021, he was placed on waivers less than a month into the regular season. The Golden Knights pounced, submitting a claim and ultimately making Amadio a regular in their lineup. He scored five goals and 10 points in 16 playoff games to help Vegas win its first Stanley Cup in 2023.
