Ottawa Redblacks will wait at least another week to start QB Jeremiah Masoli and returner DeVonte Dedmon is out for the year with an injury.
“We meet weekly, come together and make a decision,” said Redblacks coach Bob Dyce Monday following practice at Carleton University . “Then we go from there. I don’t get into the prediction business.”
Adams brings another dimension to the Redblacks’ game plan, with the ability to run away from defenders.against the Calgary Stampeders and completed 9-of-16 passes for 122 yards and an interception. At “There are certain things that will help our run game,” said Dyce. “When you run RPO and zones and things like that, defensive ends can crash and maybe not respect the quarterback going out to the flats, running with the ball or throwing the ball off that look. He has the ability to extend plays with his legs and when he makes a quick decision to put the ball vertical, he can really get it out there.
