Heavily-armed cops backed by armored vehicles arrest hundreds of Freedom Convoy truckers using Trudeau's Emergency Act
Ottawa police on Friday descended in a massive a sweep to arrest Freedom Convoy protesters. Riot police armed with tear gas launchers descended on the city center and police horses were used. One man was arrested for throwing a bicycle at a police horse as the mounted officers advanced. Ottawa police said that by 6:20pm local time, 100 people had been arrested and 21 vehicles removed. The police were going street to street removing the blockades to end the three-week protests.
