An Ottawa man faces multiple charges including attempted murder after a violent confrontation with police in Orléans that resulted in civilian injuries and the officer shooting the suspect multiple times.
An Ottawa man is being charged with multiple counts of attempted murder and other offenses after a violent incident in Orléans , Canada. The incident involved assaults on civilians, damage to vehicles, and a confrontation with police that resulted in the man being shot multiple times by an officer. He remains in stable condition. Five civilians were also injured, some seriously, but all are expected to recover.
The independent civilian agency, the Special Investigations Unit (SIU), is investigating the incident
