Emergency crews responded to the incident in the airfield at the Arnprior Airport at approximately 12:45 p.m.CTV News Ottawa has learned the victim is Ottawa firefighter Jeff Dean, a member of Station 12 located on Fifth Avenue in the Glebe.
"He was an amazing person, firefighter and the lead of our Fire Ventures Program. The news of his passing is difficult for the entire fire service family.""On arrival, paramedics found a skydiver who sustained significant traumatic injuries," said Mike Nolan, Renfrew County Paramedic Services chief.
