Ottawa police accused of intimidating schoolboy
When a neighbour asked police why they had stopped the bus, one of the officers “falsely” claimed it was because the children were standing up on the bus, the complaint says.
The boy’s family has also filed a complaint against the officer who boarded the bus. That complaints been screened by the Office of the Independent Police Review DirectorThe police review office asked the professional standards unit to try to complete its investigation within 120 days. A Quebec judge ruled earlier this year that giving someone the middle finger is, in fact, a Charter-protected right.
