An Oshawa man started jumping around the house after discovering he'd won 'Ontario's jackpot.' Darrel Bynoe won $1,489,137.30 in the March 2 Lottario draw.
Bynoe says Lottario is now his favourite game because of this $1-million win. “I usually play my own numbers and I buy tickets on Thursday or Friday for the weekend draw,” explained Bynoe. “I checked my ticket on OLG.ca at 1:30 in the morning after watching a hockey game and it felt really good to see I won. I was jumping around the house.”
“I told my sister the next morning and all she said was, ‘Good for you!'” he smiled. “It’s so great to have financial freedom.” Describing himself as not an extravagant person, Bynoe plans to put some of his winnings towards going on a vacation. If you have found a spelling error, please, notify us by selecting that text and pressing
