A collision involving at least nine vehicles in Oshawa Saturday has left some people with life-threatening injuries, police say.
In a post on X, formerly Twitter, just after noon, Durham Regional Police said the motor vehicle collision had resulted in a road closure at the intersection of Ritson Road S. and Bloor Street. Police are asking drivers to avoid the area and find alternate routes, as they expect the roads to be shut down for "a significant period of time."
As of 2 p.m., Police still had not confirmed the number of vehicles involved or the number of people injured.
